A quick photo I made, a day I was out testing and comparing video performances on different cameras and lenses.

From Blue to Yellow over Grey

Ain’t got that much to say, other than I’m amazed of the colors in some of the small lakes in Yellowstone.

Put ‘n’ Take

I don’t know if you use the same word for it in English, but this is a lake where you put in fish and feed them, and then people come here – after paying a fee – to fish, hence the name a put and take lake.

My girlfriend and her parents went here fishing, but I don’t think they caught anything, me on the other hand I went “fishing” for something totally different, cause as you can see, there was a nice reflection on the lake that day.

I needed a few hours off the photography hunt, and Mab my tuk-tuk driver – and friend – took me to lake West Baray – see the location, by clicking the geotag link below – and upon arrival we were met by this lovely girl, how asked us to stay at “her” beach, and 5 minutes later we were relaxing/dozing off in one of the hammocks you can see behind her.

I made this photo in the Dolomites in Italy about a month ago, when I was in Tirol on holiday with my girlfriend. it’s Lago di Carezza (it’s Italian and means Lake Carezza) a small lake located in the west end of the Dolomites.

I made it with my OM-D and gave it the old Seventies look in Lightroom, by adding some brown/red color in the shadows, desaturated it a bit and a few other minor adjustments.
I really like the way it turned out.

At the Lake

Still running around Tyrol, Austria, making photos, to-night I just made some amazing lightning photos, that I’m really looking forward to show you.

But to kill time, here’s a photo I made in Cambodia one day when me and my tuk-tuk driver Mab – who now is a friend – spend a few hours relaxing in a hammock by this lake, a bit out side Siem Reap called West Baray.
