Instead of a bus trip, I chose to take the boat from Siem Reap to Battambang, I didn’t know it was an 8-hour trip, and the seat was made of hard plastic (or properly glass fiber). Boy I’m telling you after sitting on it for that long, when I finally arrived in Battambang My but was sore like never before.
On the positive side I became good friends with the guy next to me, a German named Jan, who were living in Singapore at the time. And I managed to get a few good photos out of it, the one above here being one of them.
