Yellow and Blue StableBuy Print

I went up to these stables – which where right next to the placed I worked – one day to make some photos, it was a bit weird course I didn’t see any people there only horses, which on the other hand was quiet nice, nobody around to tell me where and what I could not do.

Come Back to Me

I came by this tree line, just as the sun was about to set behind them. I enhanced the blue and orange colors in Lightroom, to get a bit more contrast between the two colors.

New York Taxi Cabs

NY TaxiesBuy Print

When I was in New York (in 2011) I had this vision of making a photo of a street filed with yellow taxi cabs.
This is pretty close to the vision I had, two rows of taxis. And I’m more the happy with the way it turned out.

It’s a hand-held HDR made while I was crossing the pedestrian crossing, the lens is the Nikkor 14-24mm at 14, the ideal focal length would have been 24mm and the a bit more distance to the cars, but that wasn’t possible in the current situation.

Heres a before and after comparison for your enjoyment.

Well I should be posting photos from Spring and not Autumn. But I don’t really have any Spring photos – yet – and I kind of liked this one.

It was a yellow/orange-colored forest, but I did enhance the colors with Color Efx Pro 2 from Nik Software.
Did I over do it? What do you think?

Somewhere Between Heaven & Hell

On my 2010 US road trip I ended up in the middle of a thunder-storm in Utah, as I was driving along the sun started to go down, and I saw in my rearview mirror, that the sky was divided in to two colors, yellow on the side with the sunset and blue on the side with the thunder-storm.
I quickly parked the car at the roadside, and pulled out my tripod to get some photos of that beautiful sky.
