A while ago I were asked to make some stills of a theater performance for a friend.

As you know I like doing concert photography when an opportunity comes along, and I approached this session sort of in the same way as I do concerts, but because we didn’t it on a rehearsal day, I could stop the actors and make them “rewind” a little bit, any time I wanted to and get the photo I wanted, and that was very cool, cause opposite concert photography where you have to be alert and ready to capture the right moment in a second – which is also fun – you could take down you camera, sit and watch the actors move around and when you saw something interesting, you just made them stop and “rewind” so you could have a closer look.

It’s defiantly not the last time I’ve done theater photography.
