Like Taken Out of a Tex Avery Cartoon

Normally I find these kind of “bird on a blue sky” a bit boring, but this guy – or gal – just has so much character, which makes this photo stick out.

It looks like a real life character from a Tex Avery cartoon, the guy who invented Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny and Droopy among others, back in the golden days of Hollywood animations.

  • Camera: NIKON D70s
  • Taken: 26 July, 2006

It’s kind of like an 2 years anniversary here on the blog, because today 2 years ago, was when I started to post a new photo every day, the blog had been up and running for about ½ a year or so, but in the beginning I only posted 2-3 photos a week.

Well to celebrate I’m posting a new “how I do it” video for your enjoyment. This video – and photo – was made on My trip to The Faroe Islands last summer.

This is the first – of many – photos I made with My new Nikon D800. I haven’t made any HDR photos yet – too much work else where at the moment – but in a few weeks I’m going to Germany for 4 days, and then I’ll really gonna test the 36 meg sensor with some HDR and night shots.

This is actually – a bit – of my new home, just moved in here a month ago, in a 3 rooms apartment.
