Two Men on a Bench

As you can see below – in the EXIF data – this was photographed at aperture f5.6 and at 42 mm, which was enough to make everything in the photo in focus. Which I didn’t like; the car and the buildings in the back should be out of focus in my opinion. So in order to get the background out of focus, I masked out the men, the bench, and the foreground. Added field blur to the back in Photoshop. Now I had the focus like I wanted to, but there was still something missing. I ended up opening the photo up in Analog Efex Pro 2 from Nik to give it a desaturated look and adding some fake old lens blur to it. And then I finally got what I wanted.
