It took me a while to find the right look for this photo. It went from bright colors to black and white, and then back again. The I stopped working on it a week or so, got back to it and still couldn’t find the right look, I even asked my girlfriend what she thought – as far as I remember she liked the black and white version – but I still wasn’t happy.
But then one day I was sitting and fooling around with the photo in Nik’s Color Efex Pro 4, and bam! I hit a look that I liked, which is the one you see here.
It’s funny – and frustrating – how some photos just has a hard time getting to the right place.
