Last night, when I drove home from the studio, I took a little detour through the city, to see if there was anything I wanted to photograph. I made a few stops on the way, and the very last one – after almost 2 hours, I had begun to get quite cold – was at the main entrance to Copenhagen central station.
At first, I wanted to have some light trails running through the photo, from the taxi’s driving through. But then I changed my mind, because I much rather wanted to portray the emptiness, there is around the station on a Sunday night.
Normally this place is packed with people, taxis, buses and the likes. So it’s quite cool to see it – almost – all empty.
