Made late one night on My way home from work. I love how Copenhagen can be totally empty some nights, it happens most often on Monday and Sunday nights.
September last year, I bought My first car since 1995, it’s a Volvo Amazon from 1967, a car that I have always dreamed of owning but never thought that I would, So I’m a really happy guy right now.
At the moment the car is at My parents place, parked safe and dry for the winter. I’m bringing it back as soon as spring is here.
I’m so in love with the flare in this photo, in My opinion it really makes the photo.
It’s a HDR from 5 RAW exposures, mixed in Photomatrix, then all exposures and the HDR were imported in to Photoshop for ghost removal and other corrections. Finally I added some Color Efx pro magic.
I was at this weekend long seminar/photo exhibition in the norther part of Zealand, but I found some time to get away from it all just around sunset on the second evening there, and lucky me, the sunset was pretty darn good-looking.
I hope you had a great night last night, and the hangovers aren’t to hard on you today.
I made this photo on a trip to Sweden last year. We had just stopped to get gas on our way home, and right next to the gas station where this old mill, I went over there with My Olympus Pen E-PL-2 got it in to manual mode, because it was late in the evening and quiet dark. and because of the long shutter speed it got a bit grainy, So I choose to give it this old look which I think fits it’s perfectly.
Arrived in Singapore yesterday morning at 5:00, about an hour later I was entering my hotel, they checked me in, but of course they didn’t have a vacant room at that hour, so I had to wait until 2 in the afternoon before getting a room.
Talk about having jet lag. I was totally messed up yesterday – and still are a little – because of the time difference from here and back home, and then adding to that, that I didn’t really get any real sleep for 20 hours, luckily I could leave my luggage in the hotel reception and get out and make some sunrise photos and have a look at the Singapore Sunday morning life.
I was up in the northern parts of Jutland for 4 days – visiting my girlfriends folks – a few weeks ago.
We spend a lot of time driving around, my girlfriend wanted to show me the surroundings she grew up in, and I wanted to make some photos – big surprise – and that turned out to be a good combination.
One evening we went to some of the beach areas, for me to get some sunset, to feed my camera, and what a sunset….. well I guess the photo says it all.
