Dolomite Flower

I do not know the name of the really beautiful flower, I grows in the Dolomites high up in the mountains.
nd it blooms in early spring (may be even late winter).

The photo was made with My Samyang 7.5mm fisheye (on My Olympus OM-D E-M5), I’m loving that lens more and more, one thing I really like about it, is the ability to focus as close as 9cm, which I did when I made the photo above.

Antelope Island State Park

Antelope State Park SunsetBuy Print

The day before I attended the Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, Utah. I was on a whole day photo walk with a bunch of awesome photographers, some of us ended up on Antelope Island, just as the sun was setting. And we were given an utter most epic sunset.
I made a lot of photos that day, but those I’ll post later on.

Sunrise in a Winter Forest

An early morning in late winter of 2011, I was out catching some sunrise with My very good friend Rod Clemen. This photo is from our way back to the train station, when we where almost done for the day. I just can’t resist these low sun through trees scenarios, and had to stop and make a photo, even though I was freezing My butt off.

He Found Her Somewhere Down the Road

Well I should be posting photos from Spring and not Autumn. But I don’t really have any Spring photos – yet – and I kind of liked this one.

It was a yellow/orange-colored forest, but I did enhance the colors with Color Efx Pro 2 from Nik Software.
Did I over do it? What do you think?

Hiking in Tyrol

I walked a little further ahead, right past that tree you can see in the middle of the frame, when all of a sudden a thunder-storm came rolling in over the mountains, and a few seconds later it started pouring down.

I started running back to My car, where I thought I would find My girlfriend sitting nice and dry. When I got back there I was totally soaked, and so was she, course she had been out looking for me right when the rain started. We dumped our wet clothes in the trunk of the car, and drove all the way back to our hotel in our underwear.

Big Basin Redwoods State Park

My second visit to Big Basin Redwoods State Park – first being in 2007 – I just love walking around these gigantic redwood trees. I’m going to Oregon and Washington State later this year, really looking forward to spend a lot of time with more of these guys.
