Movement
The Rush
I made this one by putting my arm – and camera – out of the window of the car while we were driving through a highway tunnel.
The look is the black and white setting on the Pen 2, I just added a bit more contrast in post.

Sleeping in 90dB
I had been walking around Berlin, one evening – early night – to shoot some night photography, on my way back to the hotel, I came by a subway station with trains heading my direction, I was tired of all the walking, so I decided to take the train back, even though I would properly miss out on some great photo opportunities, but as it almost always turns out when you miss one opportunity you get another one, cause when I came up on the platform, I saw this homeless guy sleeping on a bench, even though the train come through the station and made a lot of noise.
I was very impressed, and I decided to make a photo of him.
This photo is made out of two exposures, I made two shoots with the same framing, one at a long exposure time with the train going by, in order to get the motion blur on the train, but that made the rest of the photo a bit blurry, so I decided to make another shoot with a shorter exposure time, to get the people and the homeless guy sharp and crisp, I then copied the train in to the “homeless guy” shoot, and ended up with the result you see here.
I also desaturated and added some contrast to the photo.
What time is it?
I was setting up for a shoot down this corridor, it is a covered sidewalk in Bologna, don’t know if you call that a corridor in English, well anyway, just as I was done setting up my tripod and so on, this man came walk from the other end of the sidewalk, and as I stood there waiting for him to pass, I noticed that he was checking the time, and in a split second I pushed the shutter release and ended up with this photo.
Converted to black and white and contrast adjusted in Photoshop, I also added a little grain to it.

Tuk Tuk Driving
The photo is from the back of a tuk tuk in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I was heading out for some late supper, and normally I would walk around to find a place to eat, but this evening it was poring down, so I jump in to a tuk tuk – a tuk tuk is this moped made in to a taxi, with room for to people in the back – and told him to take me down town.
Let me tell you that it’s really hard to take a photo from the back of a driving tuk tuk, they are drive like crazy and the roads are usually quiet bumpy. But anyway that should not stop me from trying, and I really like what I got, what do you think?
The Photo is straight out of the box shoot, I only added some contrast and color in the post process.

Pølsevogn
Pølsevognen (which means “Hot Dog Stand” in danish) serves the Danes favorite fast food – the hot dog.
Personally I´am always having one on the way home after a good night out.
Here is the recipe: (you may need to be a Dane to understand it)
Preparation time: 5 min.
Cooking time: 10 min.
Ingredients
5 Sausage
A half onion
5 tbsp. Roasted onion
50g Pickled cucumber
5 tbsp. Tomato ketchup
5 tsp. Yellow mustard
5 tbsp. Remoulade (appears to exist only in Denmark)
5 pcs. of Sausage Bread
Approach
Heat sausages in a saucepan with water. The water should be slightly below the boiling point, or fissures sausages.
Chop the raw onion into cubes.
Serve the raw and roasted onions in small bowls.
Heat the Sausage Bread in a toaster.
Slice the Sausage Bread halfway through the middle of the loaf. Place a sausage in the bread and add ketchup, mustard, tartar sauce, raw onions, roasted onion and cucumber salad on it.
Enjoy!
This is an HDR made from 5 RAW exposures, I have made a HDR of the second-longest exposure (+1) and cloned the man to the right into the “real” HDR images. to remove ghosting from his movements. I’ve also added some blur around the hot dog cart to get it to pop bit more out of frame.
