Made late one night on My way home from work. I love how Copenhagen can be totally empty some nights, it happens most often on Monday and Sunday nights.
I was returning from the northern parts of the United Arab Emirates, when I saw this interesting looking ferris wheel between some of the buildings, I made a right turn at the next road and after a bit of driving and looking for at place to park, I made a stop in front of this rather strange place, it wasn’t a shopping mall – or at least I didn’t see any shops – there was a hotel named Aryana, and around it was all these small restaurants like Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts and such. Anyway It was a beautiful looking place, so I was eager to get out and explorer.
I made My way down to the ferris wheel, in front of it was this fountain area – as you can see – here a couple of kids was running around playing with the water, but all of a sudden a guard came out and told them to stop. First I wasn’t sure why, but after a few minutes I found out that it was time for the fountain show, cause soft classic music started playing and the water jets began to move in sync with the music.
I had just bought a brand new Sigma 20mm lens for my Nikon D3s, and I couldn’t wait to take it out for a test run. I drove around Copenhagen on my bike shooting all kinds of stuff. I didn’t bring my tripod – I hate to drive around with it on My bike – so in order to get this shot I put my camera on the fountain’s edge to get My 5 exposures.
And this is what I finally ended up with, after a bit of Photomatrix and Photoshop magic.
