Father, Please Forgive Me

Father, Please Forgive Me

Here’s an old one I found in the archives. I often scroll through my old photos to see if I missed a gem or two. and because I get better at post processing and looking at photo over time, I almost always find something interesting.

How often do you look through your old photos?

Tourrettes sur Loup

Tourrettes sur Loup

Tourrettes sur Loup is a small town west of Nice, France. You’ll find it about 20km into the mainland, there isn’t happening that much in town, so a car rental is a must if you  ever plan on staying here. And a drive around the countryside can only get My highest recommendations, it is very beautiful.
I all ready posted a few photos from My rides around the surrounding areas, click on the France category below to see some of them.

Spin Baby, Spin

Spin Baby, Spin

This is a shoot from Nice, France.

I was walking around the city on My last night in town, and came by this small square/park area, where they were putting up this amusement park, there were no customers around, but the ferris wheel was spinning anyway – they were properly testing, to see if it was working – I quickly lined up for a wide angled HDR.
Unfortunately I did have that much time to explore the area, cause My plane was leaving a few hours later.

Well, as mentioned it’s a HDR made from 7 RAW exposures in Photomatrix, and afterwards cleaned up in Photoshop.

Who’s There?

Who’s There?

I’m a little exited, cause as we speak, my friend Mads is working on a new design for the site.
I have never had anybody else working on the Exposure of Life blog, and it has never had a unique design, it’s always just been me look around the web for cool looking – free - wordpress themes I could try out, and finally settling with the one I got now, which I never been totally happy with – don’t really like the grey and white look.

The new look is gonna be simpler and more colorful.

I will of course give you the grand tour, in the first post with the new look, so don’t get confused if you drop by the site in a week or so, and it looks all different, it’s still me, just in a brand new set of colors.

And by the way if you wanna see some of Mads’s other projects – and maybe hire him – then take a look at his website here: madsfind.dk

Today’s photo is from a small town called Vence – settled 12,5 km west of Nice – where I spent half a day on a romantic weekend trip to France with an ex-girlfriend, about a year ago.
If you are in Nice and wanna take  a drive in country I would recommend at you make a stop at Vence, cause it’s a cosy little southern France town, and definitely worth a visit.
