Chernobyl House

Chernobyl House

Here’s another shoot from my trip to Chernobyl, last year. This one is actually from the city Chernobyl, a small town just about 16km southeast of the nuclear power reactor that blew up in 1986. Today it is inhabited by the people who work inside the 30km safe zone, and it’s also here we stayed at a hotel, the two days we where in the zone.

It’s quiet amazing to see how fast nature takes over after we are out of the picture, it took about 25 years for the trees to completely cover up the houses, that are not in use anymore.
